I hope so, Stefi. Right now, though, I see even some sex workers who are unaware of what Femen is actually up to, supporting them. Mostly, these sex workers haven’t investigated past the superficial image of topless protesters. Not everyone who displays nudity is open-minded.

Yeah, WTF more or less covers it. I was a subscriber to Legend of the Dark Knight at the time, which only rarely dipped into the mainstream Batman comics continuity, but they did for the Knightfall event. (I much preferred the TV cartoon to the comics in those days anyway…)

I vaguely remember hearing about Azrael in the comics, though it was always followed by a “WTF?”

Actually there was period some time in the 90′s after Batman lost his fight with Bane and he was replaced with an actual Crusader in the Templar Knights sense. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azrael_(comics) (That was a weird period in comic books, wasn’t it? Although I guess it never really ended…) I don’t expect most people to know that, though, indeed I find that I am unable to block it from my mind no matter what I do.

On a less “obsessive nerd” note: Gail Dines loves the fact that someone called her a crusader. She loves being a crusader, and she loves any chance to prove her insane, politically correct bona fides. So this was two birds with one stone.

I used to be very fond of a Jewish stripper who used to play with me at one of Tampa’s strip clubs… she ended up moving to Vegas after one of the many political crackdowns they have from time to time around here. She was a lot of fun, sigh…
